This is due to the fact, that there are only a limited number of vehicles available for walk-up customers. It is recommended that you make a reservation as soon as possible before arriving at McCarran International Airport. The shuttles depart every 5 minutes and the trip takes approximately 7 minutes. The shuttle buses are departing from the ground transportation level in Terminal 1 and from Level Zero in Terminal 3. In order to get to the Rent-A-Car Center passengers can utilize the shuttle service at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The Rent-A-Car Center is open 24 hours and provides great customer service facilities. The place gives easy access to the freeways Interstates 15 and 215 as well as the Las Vegas Strip. This is located 3 miles from McCarran Airport at 7135 Gilespie Street. Passengers will be able to find the service counters of all the airport’s rental car companies at the Rent-A-Car Center. All travelers can get a rental car from some of the top rental car companies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, SIXT, and Thrifty. I rent a lot of cars, and no other car company has even come close to Sixt Las Vegas strip hotel delivery.If you would like to rent a vehicle from one of the many car rental providers at McCarran International Airport, this can easily be arranged. free car delivery to our hotel, very inexpensive rate for a luxury BMW Series 5 (awesome to use to drive our daughter to her wedding), extraordinary employee contacts and service, beautiful car, and happy to accommodate a special need. So to recap our extraordinary experience. The most extraordinary thing was, though, their allowance of a free extra hour to return our car at a more convenient time in Phoenix. The contact at the Las Vegas delivery office was incredibly accommodating and offered some compensation. I may be because it snowed that morning in Las Vegas. They were a little late in delivering the vehicle. Once we were given the direct number for the Las Vegas delivery office, everything was incredibly smooth sailing thereafter. The only glitch was determining how to let them know how to deliver the car as the main customer service number is pretty gruesome to navigate. We were driving the car to Phoenix, and Sixt has no drop fees. The Sixt website is the easiest and most efficient of any car rental site! Sixt was far less expensive for a luxury car rental than an economy size car from any other company. I could not determine exactly where to place this review as we booked our Sixt BMW Series 5 car directly through the Sixt website and had it delivered to our Las Vegas strip hotel at no additional charge. ![]() So ends my time as a customer ever renting from them again, beware those who do! ![]() For a big player like Sixt it was just a huge disappointment. This was what I would expect renting from a second rate off brand rental place. The car entertainment system crashes if you even dare to adjust the temp (meaning your fans, car play maps etc all go black). ![]() Then the car after all this was a very old, very beat up Pacifica. Being sick of arguing I agreed, at this point just wanted a car and to be done. Then suddenly while they couldn’t give that X3 they found a Minivan for 175$ as quoted. Made a stink about such a sudden further increase beyond the paid price. They said only way to get that car was so pay 445$ worth of fees (not just the prior quoted 175$). ![]() Then walked to the garage to get the keys for that car whereupon the Sixt staff in that booth said “we don’t have that car available” despite 5 minutes ago being up sold to that car. Despite it being their lack of being able to fulfill the rental they sold me… Then after working out pricing was quoted an additional 175$ for a BMW X3. Told on arrival they didn’t have our car type and that we needed to pay more for an alternate (larger) car. Sad to write this review as have had some really good experiences renting with Sixt in Europe. ![]()
